Thank you for helping keep this listing accurate. Which describes you?
For fire department members: manage your listing by email
Send us your contact information below. Once we've confirmed you're with the department, we'll email you the management form for your listing, with the volunteer recruiter forms for firefighters, EMS, support roles and offers of help. From then on, you can update the listing by replying to that email.
Tell us about the fire department or fire station on the form below: its name and address, and its non-emergency phone if you have it. We add it once an official source confirms it. If we can also confirm you're with it, we'll email you the management form for its new listing; otherwise we'll email you the link once it's added.
Managing one station? You can manage just this station's listing. It helps even more when someone manages the whole department: a complete, current department listing is easier for your community and for search engines to find and trust. If you can, ask your chief or an officer to request the whole department too.
Already manage this listing? Just reply to your management email; you don't need to send this again.
How this works
- We confirm you're with the department. For example, by your department email address, by the department's website, or by calling the department's public phone number.
- More than one person can manage a listing, such as the fire chief, the volunteer recruiter and an officer. Each sends this form, and we confirm each one.
- Send updates your way. Reply in your own words, as much or as little at a time as suits you: contact information, the fire chief, stations, equipment, statistics and anything else on your listing. We turn what you send into your listing, and if something isn't clear, we write back to ask.
- Coordinate with your chief and recruiter. Updates are best when the people who know each part agree on them.
- Attach what you already have. An annual report, ISO letter, budget or run report often has the statistics we show. Attach it and we'll take the numbers from it, so you don't have to look each one up.
- Photos. Attach photos of your stations, crew, chief and equipment right to the email.
- Volunteer recruitment. We'll email you the volunteer recruiter forms, one each for firefighters, EMS, support roles and offers of help, and a link to how to answer them. You can forward them to your recruiter; we confirm the recruiter with you.
- We still review every change before it's posted. Your contact information is only used to work with you on the listing and is never shown on the site.

For community members: send an update
Fill out the form below with whatever you know, as little or as much as you like. We check each update against an official source before it's posted.
Tell us about the fire department or fire station on the form below: at least its name and address, and its non-emergency phone and fire chief if you know them. We check it against an official source before it's added, then email you the link. The form also asks whether you'd like to manage the new listing, if you work there, or keep helping update it.
How this works
- What you can send. The department's non-emergency phone, email and address, the fire chief's name, photos of the department, its stations, the chief and its equipment, and its engines and other apparatus.
- Annual reports and other documents. If you have the department's annual report, a newsletter or another document about it, upload it. Statistics come from the department itself or from documents like these.
- How we check it. Because community updates can come from anyone, we confirm each one with an official source, such as the department's website, a county or state record, or the department itself. That's why it can take a few days.
- Tell us where you found it. A link or a short note, like "the sign at the station," helps us confirm your update sooner.
- Photos. Send only photos you took or have permission to share, and tell us who to credit and the year each was taken. Station photos should show the station itself; your firefighters and equipment in the picture are welcome.
- Volunteer recruitment comes only from the fire department. If you're with the department, see how fire department staff manage this listing.
- We may email you with a question. Your contact information is only used for that and is never shown on the site.
